Congrats to our recent grads!
HUGE congratulations to our recent CSU graduates, including Camille Britt, Aida Wates, Brianna Maxwell, Caitlyn Cruz, and (Dr. ) Tamara Layden!
We have three outstanding undergraduates completing their BS degrees, including Camille and Aida, both earning their degrees in Horticulture, and Brianna earning her degree in Fish, Wildlife, & Conservation Biology! We also have two incredible grad students completing their thesis/dissertation programs, with Caitlyn earning her MS in Rangeland Ecosystem Science and Tamara earning their PhD in Ecology! Congrats grads!!!
Alongside meeting and exceeding institutional standards, each of our students also contributed to meaningful research efforts in Indigenous stewardship and engagement in and around CSU, earning several awards for their achievements (congrats Camille on your Rising Star Award for service learning at MURALS and the Best in Show: Community Engagement award at CURC—wow!!). We are also grateful to continue to get to work with some of our post grads, including Brianna now serving as the new Undergraduate Research Coordinator with our program partners at the CSU Native American Cultural Center and Tamara continuing to serve as the Lab Coordinator and graphic artist with the lab!
We are so proud of our students and all the transformative work they are doing within the institution and beyond, and we are excited to see what’s next for each of them on the horizon!
